Science Day is celebrated in Russia on February 8.  Peter the Great issued a decree on establishment of the Russian Academy of Sciences on this day in 1724.

Director of the IAO SB RAS, Dr. I.V. Ptashnik,  Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, congratulated the IAO staff, young scientists, postgraduate and postdoc students  on the Russian Science Day.

“Science is a lifelong  adventure,” Dr. I.V. Ptashnik said.
